Thoughts on weigh-in

sioux-warrior
Think about what you eat and drink each day. Each glass of water, every healthy tuna and garden salad and every piece of fruit weighs something. I hate to talk about it in a round about way but everything that goes in must come out. So if you jump on the scales in the afternoon you might get a bit dirty that you're not losing weight, indeed you may well have put it on! My weight fluctuates upto about 3kg. I really keep the fluids (water) up and this really can add to the numbers on the scales.

Another consideration is what you are wearing when you weigh yourself. Your clothes aren't weight free don't you know? Consider the difference in the scale weight if you are wearing boots as opposed to light weight runners. It does matter what your wearing.

So what's the best option Defib? You seem to be so smart about these things. Thanks for acknowledging my incredible intelect. My weigh in routine is to jump on the scales after a good nights sleep, after i've been to the loo and before i've had anything to drink or eat and before you chuck on your clothes. The "after a good nights sleep" counts out the day I return after night shift but problems are there to be overcome.

One last piece of advice. Use the same scales. Sure they might not be accurate but at the end of the day it's not the number that counts during your journey to a healthier weight but rather it's the fact that the number is decreasing.
